How the program runs

Six months, self-paced

Most students invest 5 to 8 hours a week, fitted around work and family.

Video lessons, hands-on exercises and practical projects. You build real programs and upload your work to a coach for feedback.

The industry-standard PLC and HMI software is supplied, so you practise on the same tools used on the job.

The Curriculum

What you will learn

The first three months focus on PLC programming: Ladder Logic, working in Studio 5000, and writing, editing and troubleshooting programs from scratch. You then move on to HMI design, variable frequency drives, PID control, Structured Text, Add-On Instructions and Connected Components.
